Larry Shultz's Funeral Arrangements

Long time Gladiolus grower Larry Shultz passed away Wednesday March 28th. Larry Showed flowers at the Illinois State Fair continously for over 50 years.
Arrangements are vistation Sunday 3-7 pm at the Baier Funeral Home in Watseka, IL.
Visitation will be Monday 10:30-12:30 at the United Methodist Church in Washburn, IL, with Funeral to follow.

Illinois Gladiolus Society Spring Meeting and Bulb Auction

It is that time of year again. The Illinois Gladiolus Society Annual Spring Meeting and Bulb Auction will be held Sunday March 27th, 2011 at the Illinois FFA Center, 3221 Northfield Drive, Springfiled, Illinois. If you plan on eating before the meeting Ryan's restaurant is down the road in front of Wal-Mart. Lets plan on having the meeting at 11:30 am with auction to follow. We will have bulbs from Bud Bullard, Peeters and Gruber on the auction.

Remember that the auction is our way of supporting the glad shows during the year. You can bring anything you like to donate to the auction.
